Syracuse’s first snowstorm of the season compared with previous November snow totals

Syracuse had no measurable snowfall for the month of November in 2016 until Sunday. Sunday’s 6.4 inches, plus another 18.3 inches on Monday, puts the monthly total at 24.7 inches. That makes this November the fourth snowiest since 1940, as measured at Syracuse’s Hancock Airport.
